Veterans FSI is lead by Tim Payne who began his career mixing masonry “mud” in 1980 with the US Navy SEABEES which took him all over the globe in many different roles and on a wide array of buildings and projects. Serving at NAVCOMMSTA Iceland he was selected the Sailor of the Year in 1991. As Chief of Facilities @ SACLANT he was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal by the Secretary of Defense for performance. Following the SEABEES he worked with a sub contractor to Georgia Power Co. installing the majority of the power system for the 1996 Olympic Village. With Gwinnett County Schools, the largest district in Georgia, he was part of the industry leading and award winning Facilities & Operations Department. As a regional program manager with a federal agency manages $35m Repair & Alterations annual budget & Building Assessment program across a 142 building, 50m S.F. portfolio. A man of faith in Christ and family he calls Flowery Branch, Ga. home where you can find him golfing, fishing, and enjoying life!
